Tend Skin Liquid

Average Cost: $13 - $50
Overall Rating: (4 out of 5)

While Tend Skin Liquid claims to soothe razor burn, reduce inflamed and irritated skin, calm shaving bumps, and alleviate ingrown hairs – most of the praise for this product comes from ingrown hair sufferers. Instantaneously providing relief or working wonders within 24 hours for many users, Tend Skin Liquid often receives glowing reviews from customers looking to treat and prevent ingrown hairs on the face, neck, and body. The exfoliating properties and calming effect of the product have also drawn positive criticism.

To combat the typical unattractive and discomforting effects of shaving and waxing, both men and women can use Tend Skin Liquid to promote healthy skin after hair removal. The face and neck are commonly targeted trouble spots for male users, while women typically apply the product to their legs, underarms, and bikini region.

Instructions

Use Tend Skin Liquid daily and nightly, as well as after each shave or waxing. When applying the product, it is important to make sure your skin is completely dry. It is suggested to test Tend Skin Liquid on a small area of skin before fully applying the product for the first time. Simply moisten a cotton ball with the product, dab on the desired part of the body, and wait between 5 and 20 minutes.

As with any topical solutions, some users have experienced sensitivity to the ingredients. People with known sensitive skin have complained of burning sensations or excessive drying after using Tend Skin, especially on freshly shaven skin or when razor burn is present. The experience is often compared to applying alcohol to the skin.

Precautions

To avoid increased ingrown hair development and skin irritation, avoid applying Tend Skin Liquid within 48 hours of using Loofah pads or a similar product. Additionally, Tend Skin Liquid can cause chemical burns to the skin (due to reactions associated with active agents within the product) when used within one month of doctor-administered or salon exfoliant treatments (such as AHA’s and Accutune).

Suggestions

If you have been suffering ingrown hairs for many months and wish to eradicate a long existing problem, the best results have been known to come after gently ‘teasing’ (not tweezing) stubborn ingrown hairs before the first use of Tend Skin Liquid. Simply lift the ends of pesky ingrown hairs from under the skin to allow Tend Skin Liquid to perform to its best ability.

Tend Skin works miracles on ingrown neck hairs. I have to warn you – there is an odd scent until it dries, but nothing too hard to deal with
